Unique lighting for the State Central Bank of Hesse1988

Manfred Wolf and Jean-Marc da Costa have designed numerous special and unique lighting fixtures since founding the company. In 1988, they created the lighting structure for the new State Central Bank of Hesse in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

Central Bank of Hesse, Frankfurt.

The reconstruction of the Hessian Federal Reserve Bank branch took place during the years 1983-87, right in the center of the banking quarter.

The group of architects Jourdan/Müller/Albrecht and Berghof/Landes/Rang developed for the so-called "bank of the banks" of Frankfurt the concept of  a lying skyscraper with a commercial area of 32,000 squaremeters.

The Portal House, one of the buildings of the former German National Bank erected in 1929-32, as well as the villa built during the "Gründerzeit" era (around 1871-74, years of reckless financial speculation) on these premises are preserved and completely renovated.

The order to design the special lighting for the central conference room called "Historical room" in the Portal House was given to ca Costa & Wolf.
