This architecturally sophisticated building combines a variety of uses – from a rooftop bar to a cinema and a ballroom – for the young community. With a selection of 457 distinctive luminaires, serien.lighting provides not only light, but also a unifying design element within the intricately designed interior. The project impressively demonstrates how functional lighting, minimalist design and architectural thinking can work together on an international stage.

The iconic ZOOM XL chandeliers, with their latticework, take centre stage in the bistro’s main bar. The iconic ZOOM XL chandeliers, with their latticework, take centre stage in the bistro’s main bar. They define the two-storey space and are the dominant visual elements of the otherwise classically styled interior. They are complemented by CAVITY ceiling and pendant lights (some in special colours to match the interiors), which provide the right lighting along the room’s perimeter.

The LYD wall lights, with their champagne-anodised, opal or mirrored fronts, are incredibly versatile. At Papi’s Pizza, an Italian restaurant, they create the perfect atmosphere around the high tables, whilst in the entertainment lounge they provide glare-free lighting. They have also been used as mirror lights in beautifully designed washrooms.

In the Dining Room and the Cinema Bar Lounge, ceiling lights from the DRUM Ceiling series provide balanced general lighting with a soft light distribution. The Cinema Room is fitted with CURLING pendant lights as well as CURLING and ROD wall lights – a combination that offers both functional lighting and decorative accents.

A total of 457 luminaires from seven different ranges by serien.lighting were installed, including the CAVITY model in four different custom colours. The selection follows a clear design concept: understated forms, high-quality materials and precise lighting effects create both a sense of direction and atmosphere.
