In 2017, Roider Giovanoli Architects redesigned the village centre to cater for the growing yet ageing population of the municipality of Brütten. The result was a new building comprising six apartments for the elderly spread over two floors, as well as a communal ground floor. The modern and spacious premises offer ample room for privacy, whilst the village square has been transformed into a public green space, thereby ensuring sufficient social interaction within the community.
