180° swivel-mounted library light for the UB-2 in Freiburg2020

The ROLF2 luminaire was developed for the Economic Sciences University Library UB-2 in Freiburg.

The swivelling work and reading lamp is formed from a specially extruded aluminium profile and can be rotated through 180° thanks to a swivel joint that is flush-mounted into the tabletop. Dimmable COB LEDs provide reading-friendly light at 3000K and approximately 850 lm, with low energy consumption of just 7W per lamp.

All the lights in the reading room were programmed to switch on as required.
