Control and sensors
SLICE² Floor is available with different control options:
Integrated (standard)
On/off and dimming via a push button integrated into the luminaire head.
Sensor (combined)
On/off and dimming via the integrated push button and a presence and daylight sensor integrated into the luminaire head.
Sensor (presence and daylight dependent)
Automatic control via a presence and daylight sensor integrated into the luminaire head.
The sensor solution enables energy-efficient, demand-driven lighting control for everyday office environments.
Defined light distribution
The light distribution is clearly defined by the luminaire's construction:
- 85% indirect light directed upwards through a diffuser panel
- 15% direct light directed downwards and glare-controlled by prismatic glass
The indirect light provides uniform ambient illumination, while the direct light ensures standards-compliant illumination of the work surface. Together, both layers create a balanced lighting solution with high visual quality.

SLICE² achieves a unified glare rating of UGR < 15, making it particularly well suited to demanding screen-based workplaces.
Further versions with different colour temperatures (CCT), colour rendering indices (CRI) and light outputs are available.
SLICE² Floor
A free-standing solution for single and double workstations.
The floor-standing version allows flexible positioning within the space and is equally well suited to open-plan office layouts and clearly defined workstation areas.
SLICE² Furniture
Direct table integration
Different table adapters allow direct integration into the desk. This Furniture-version reduces floor space requirements while integrating the lighting solution seamlessly into the furniture.
SLICE² for USM Haller table systems
A specially developed adapter enables precise integration into USM Haller table systems. The construction integrates both technically and visually into the furniture system, creating a clean and coherent workstation solution.
