Transparent glass cylinder and matte internal reflector
The transparent glass cylinder and the matte internal reflector of DRUM create a compelling interplay of contrasting geometries. Together, they form a luminaire with a perfectly balanced lighting effect: precise and graphic on the outside, clearly geometric and light-defining on the inside.
The conical shape of DRUM Ceiling’s opal internal reflector is determined by the height and diameter of the transparent outer glass form. Each combination creates a geometric interplay of clear cylindrical volumes and internal cones with varying angles, giving every version its own distinct character.

Glare-free light with high visual comfort
DRUM Ceiling provides softly diffused ambient light in all directions while simultaneously delivering directed light below the luminaire. The light source remains completely shielded, ensuring a high level of visual comfort even in sensitive environments such as lounge areas, corridors and healthcare projects.
Different colour temperatures and the optional Dim2Warm function allow the lighting effect to be tailored to a wide range of requirements and lighting atmospheres.

DRUM Ceiling is available in three diameters (XS 125 mm / S 160 mm / M 220 mm), two lengths (short/long), two colour temperatures and with an optional Dim2Warm function.
The different proportions make the various versions suitable for both smaller rooms and corridors as well as spacious lounge areas, circulation spaces and public buildings.
DRUM XS is designed for spaces where proportion is key. Whether in corridors, bathrooms, utility rooms or serial installations, its compact form integrates effortlessly into the architecture while providing soft, glare-free light within a minimal volume.
